We have partnered with local estate agents Ashtons, who we know and trust to deliver a sale quickly and seamlessly for you through our Assisted Move scheme.

Step 1 – valuation and photographs

As long as you own your current home outright (shared ownership isn't eligible) any kind of property is eligible for Assisted Move. Simply get in touch and we’ll arrange for a valuation and for photographs of your current home to be taken at the same time. We’ll compare the valuations of a few agents so we get the selling price exactly right.

Step 2 – marketing your property

Now you can sit back and enjoy the prospect of moving into your new home at Cocoa Gardens. The estate agent we’ve commissioned will market your property, at the valuation price you’ve approved. They’ll use all of the big property selling websites and work hard to get the agreed price, as well as a quick sale.

Step 3 – keeping you updated

The aim is to sell your current property within a six-week period. We’ll keep you updated on the level of interest, any offers received and make recommendations on adjusting the price if we think this will help you complete the sale in the required timescale.

Step 4 – completing the sale and purchase

Once you’ve received an offer you’re happy with, the sale of your current property can go ahead and the purchase of your new home in Cocoa Gardens can progress.

Your percentage of the agent’s fee will be deducted from the proceeds of the sale and Latimer will pay its percentage directly to the estate agent. If your current property doesn’t sell in the six-week period, then Assisted Move may be terminated. You're free to sell your property independently and can still progress to a purchase of a home at Cocoa Gardens when you're in a position to do so.
